Welcome to the Dayton Local Show Circuit
We are a partnership of seven organizations from the Greater Dayton and Northern Cincinnati areas organized to promote equestrian sports in a fun competitive atmosphere. Our 2011 showbill includes 11 Hunter Shows and 10 Dressage Shows followed by a Year-End Awards Banquet. Whether you choose to compete, become a DLSC Sponsor, or simply cheer someone on, we appreciate your support for our local riders and the sport we all love.
USEF Rider Tests
We are excited to begin offering classes for the new USEF Rider Tests at our 2013 Dressage Shows. These tests are intended to help riders measure their progress and are available at Training, First, and Second Levels. Scoring for the tests is different from standard dressage tests: instead of individual movement scores, riders will receive constructive evaluations that they can put to use in improving their abilities as a rider through five overall scores (rider position, correct and effective
use of aids, horse's response and performance, accuracy of the exercises, and harmony between rider and horse plus written commentary). Each of the new rider tests is available for you to print below.
